Inside Nesta Cooper’s Art-Filled Thom Browne Miami Experience

When Thom Browne invited Nesta Cooper to Miami for his art meets fashion fete, she knew she was in for a treat. The actress, who currently shares the screen with Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard on the Apple + fantasy drama, See arrived ready for an experience and received just that. Treated to a first look at the designer’s debut art installation, Palm, Tree, I, a thrilling performance by Harriet star, Cynthia Erivo, and a star-studded dinner party in the center of the design district Cooper’s 24-hour trip was jam-packed, but that was only part of the fun. Brought into the immersive world of the brand, she made fast friends behind the scenes. “My favorite part of the experience was able to get to know the Thom Browne team,” shared Cooper post-event. “The energy there was amazing. Friendly, cool, and so open.”

Those words could also be used to describe Cooper. A rising star who is currently experiencing a moment thanks to her performance on See and forthcoming roles opposite Salma Hayek and Owen Wilson, is refreshingly chill. Apt to compliment Tyson Beckford on his enviable seersucker suit or hang with pals like Riverdale’s Charles Melton, she enjoyed her brief taste of the city’s good vibes. “Miami seems like an absolute blast, and I wish I could have stayed longer,” she says. “It reminds me a bit of my home in Jamaica. Easy going and fun.” Here, Cooper takes Vogue along for her Thom Browne experience from pre-party facials to dancing the rain.
