To increase the output thriller and horror, Netflix is developing aurora, adaptation of the upcoming novel by David Koepp, which will be directed by Kathryn Bigelow. This project was announced in March 2022, right after the agreement with Netflix was made.
Screenplay, adapting the coming novel, will be adapted by David Koepp himself. Koepp loans include big projects such as Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible, Spider-Man 2002, stir echoes and more. Directing films will be the Bigelow Kathryn, which won Oscar in 2008 because of his work in the Hurt Locker. He also directed zero thirty.
Producing is a long-producing partner Bigelow Greg Shapiro and Gavin Polone, whose long history with Koepp includes producing writers and sometimes film directors like sister echoes and secret windows.
