The problem arrived in the light after Sanjeev Gupta, Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Saturday was concerned about high prices during the admission time of colleges.
The EU ministry of civil aviation announced late Sunday that it “verified fully” the claims made on the exorbitant air ticket at the reception of the route of Delhi0London and found that the reports are not have no proven base. The Departmental Declaration on Twitter is presented after the Civil Aviation Branch (DGCA) asked for airlines that operate India-United States to submit details on their rates.
“There are media reports that the British India’s economic class rates have affected Rs. 4 LAKHS. These reports have no proven reason. The veracity of HS Sanjeev Gupta’s claim has been completely checked by @ DGCaindia, “said the ministry.
“Tariffs on Delhi-London (Economic Class) range from 1.03-1.21 LAKHS for Indian carriers and 1.28-1.47 LAKHS for British Travel Carriers in August 2021,” added in a later tweet.
The problem arrived in the light after Sanjeev Gupta, Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Saturday was concerned about high prices during the admission time of colleges.
“Price of € 3.95 Lakh One Way Delhi in London on August 26. No, it’s not a first class. It’s the economy on @British_Airways @Airindidian @Airvistara, etc. Also 1.2 to 2 , 3 LAKH. College admission time! See the minimum rate on @GoogneTravel in August. Have alerted secretary @Moca_gii @jm_scierdia, “Tweetd Gupta, sharing screenshots of air tariffs.
The Gupta tweet came while the United Kingdom moved India from the “Red” list to “Amber”, giving relaxation of the hotel Quarantine to travelers.
The DGCA asked the Airlines Sunday to present detailed information on the air tickets they charged for the United Kingdom flights in August.
Although there have been lower and upper limits of all national custody notes in India since May 25 of last year, no such limit has been imposed on international air tariffs.
The flights of planned international passengers have been suspended in India since March 23, in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the flights of limited international passengers have operated since July 2020 in the air bubble arrangements formed with 28 countries, including the United Kingdom.
