After announcing the ability to take messages deleted on the latest beta for iOS updates, WhatsApp owned by Meta now releases features that allow admin groups to delete any message in the group. This feature is only launched to several lucky beta examiners, so it will take time before reaching all other accounts, reporting media sources.
“If you are a group admin and you cannot delete messages sent from other participants, please wait for the update in the future because more activation will follow for the next few weeks,” the report said. The report states that this is a significant feature for the group admin because they can finally better moderate their WhatsApp group.
In addition, when a message is deleted for everyone in the group, all other group participants can see that certain group admins have deleted the message. Recently, the platform began to launch the ability to watch status directly from the WhatsApp chat list for iOS users.
Beta version 22.18.0.70 brings the ability to see the status update in the chat list. This has been released to certain beta examiners, and therefore, it is still not available for everyone.
