Pakistan is likely to come out of the ‘gray list’ from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). Announcement for the same thing will take place at Plenary Fatf which is scheduled this week, from 14 to 17 June 2022, in Berlin (Germany).
The source has told India Today TV that the announcement will be installed on the global financial supervisory website, followed by a visit to Pakistan by the FATF team to assess compliance by the state that has been under the ‘jurisdiction under an increase in monitoring and high -risk jurisdiction and jurisdiction ‘For more than four years now. According to sources, Pakistan has completed 26 of 27 action items in the 2018 action plan for FATF and six of the seven Action Items 2021 Action Plan Asia Pacific Group Fatf regarding Money Laundering (APG).

The German government will host this hybrid event in Berlin, with a large number of participants to take part directly.
The German Ambassador to Pakistan, Bernhard Schlagheck, stated that Pakistan’s hopes were expelled from the Gray Fatf list this month. Speaking to the media in Islamabad on Sunday, the German envoy got rid of lobbying concerns against Pakistan in Fatf. He said that Fatf was a collective forum and one country could not affect decisions.
