Amarinder Singh and Navjot Sidhu have maintained a feud to run since the 2017 elections; Mr Sidhu hopes to be a deputy minister of head but the move is reportedly slipping by Mr. Singh.
Mr Sidhu, Congress Star Campaign in the 2017 poll, instead became a minister at Amarinder Singh Government but stopped two years later after his service was revealed.
After the silence and a prolonged detachment from the business affairs, he began targeting Amarinder Singh in recent months, a problem that was difficult to ignore in Punjab polls.
His attack recently included friction to the main minister for the power crisis (Mr. Singh heads the electricity ministry) and at the government’s legal setback in the 2015 case which involves the desecration of the Teacher’s Sikh and police.
There are indications of possible settlement this week, after Mr Sidhu’s latest tweet attack on the power crisis. Unlike the previous one, this is provided for the rival of Congress – Akali Dal and AAP.
Last month, Mr Sidhu told NDTV that he was ready to work with Mr. Singh but only if the main minister met with people before the latest assembly elections.
Mr. Singh previously slammed Sidhu on his offensive who was unrelenting and complained to the party’s leadership about what he called “total dissipline” by the cricket which turned into politicians.
