Nearly 2.8 million people have left Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion on February 24.

Russia continued its attack in Ukraine for the third week in a row even though the two countries held a peaceful talk of fresh rounds. On Monday, Russian forces launched a series of air strikes in several cities in Ukraine. According to the United Nations, almost 2.8 million people have left a war-hit by a war and more than 600 dead but the number of victims is expected to be much higher.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has updated calls for NATO to impose “zone without flies” throughout the country. However, the President of NATO and the United States did not approve of the request, for the reason it would put them in direct conflict with Russia.

Zelensky will also give a direction of the US Congress on Tuesday.

> The President of Ukraine Zelensky called his colleague Russia Vladimir Putin to meet him directly, requests that have not been fulfilled by Kremlin until now.

> In the capital city of Kyiv, the latest air strike by Russian forces in a plane factory killed at least two people.

On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that 20 people were killed and 28 injured after Ukrainian forces launched missiles in the housing environment in Donetsk.

> US President Joe Biden is expected to meet NATO leaders in Brussels next week to discuss the Ukrainian war, the Reuters news agency reported the quoted source. However, sources say that the plan can change because of the situation that changes rapidly in Ukraine.

> Biden announced that the government would provide Ukraine with weapons along with enabling refugees from a war-hit by a war to enter the US and send money, food, and other humanitarian assistance to Kyiv.
