Netflix will soon lose the Thriller French La Mante series which also translates to mantis (although Netflix does not use this title in any area). All 6 episodes will depart Netflix globally on December 29, 2021.

Initially aired on TF1, France’s miniseries finally found its way to Netflix on December 29, 2017 in most Netflix regions throughout the world. It comes from the international distribution of AB and septembre production and followed serial killers who offer to help solve a series of copycat murder.

The six episodes of La Mante are released in total with around 55 minutes in runtime. This series is available at Netflix in the original French audio as well as dubs for Germany, Spain, Italy and Portugal. No English dub is available even though the English subtitle is available.

Around the time of liberation, the inews gave a thumbs up to the thumbs that said “this a definite show is worth watching” adding that the show is comparable to people like Mindhunter, Hannibal, and sinners.

The series also accepts a thumbs up from Stephen King which has a long history to make a great Netflix recommendation.

Now, four years later, this series will depart to Netflix completely in most areas including the US and Britain on December 29 with the notice “the last day to watch” for December 28.

Why did La Mante leave Netflix?

If you wonder why La Mante left Netflix, it went down to the license. Even though it becomes genuine Netflix, in this example it only means that Netflix buys exclusive streaming rights for the repair time period. In this case, the fixed period was for four years.

As we discussed, many original Netflix has been removed from services for years but it should be noted that this process seems to accelerate.

Earlier this year, we saw frozen dead people, other French miniseries departed from Netflix.

We recommend watching while you can like when the title leaves Netflix they become very difficult to watch online legally with most failed to find new streaming houses.
